Kambiz, his wife, and their three children have built their lives in the Pacific Palisades Highlands — two kids currently at Palisades Charter High School, their youngest at Calvary Christian School.
After the fire, Kambiz founded Pali Builds — a free community resource tracking permit activity and home sales, and publishing newsletters and practical guidance to help homeowners navigate rebuilding.

For the past 16 years, my family and I have proudly called the Pacific Palisades Highlands home. My wife and I are raising our three children here, with two currently attending Palisades Charter High School and our youngest attending Calvary Christian School. Like so many families, we've built our lives around this community and are deeply invested in its future.
Community service has always been a cornerstone of my involvement in the Palisades. I have coached nearly every sport my children have played and currently serve as head coach of my son's Pacific Palisades Baseball Association (PPBA) All-Star team. I continue to serve on the boards of the Pacific Palisades Baseball Association and the Park Advisory Board, working to strengthen youth sports, improve our parks, and create opportunities for local families.
As a general contractor with more than 25 years of experience in Los Angeles, I understood that rebuilding our community would require more than construction — it would require collaboration, transparency, and advocacy. After the fire, I founded Pali Builds, a free community resource that tracks permit activity and home sales while publishing newsletters and practical guidance to help homeowners navigate the rebuilding process. My goal has always been to provide reliable information, connect residents with resources, and advocate for solutions that move rebuilding forward.
Today, I continue that work as a member of the Pacific Palisades Community Council's Infrastructure Committee, where I work alongside residents, city agencies, and community leaders to address the challenges facing our neighborhood. Whether it's improving infrastructure, advocating for faster rebuilding, or helping neighbors overcome obstacles, I believe in bringing people together to solve problems.
I am running to continue serving the Highlands with the same commitment that has guided my volunteer work for years: listening to residents, providing practical solutions, and working every day to help rebuild a stronger, safer, and more connected Pacific Palisades.

The PPCC exists to protect and improve quality of life in Pacific Palisades. It's a forum for community issues, an advocate to government and private agencies on matters with broad community agreement, and a resource for local organizations pursuing projects the Council chooses to support.
Area Representatives are elected only by residents of their own area. The At-Large Representative is elected by all community stakeholders, giving every voter a say in that seat.
Each Representative serves a two-year term, October 1 through September 30, with elections held every two years. Alternates are first nominated by the Committee of Three Chairs, then may be elected by the PPCC Board at the Board's first October meeting — and can also be named mid-term if a seat becomes vacant.
